Few things compare to how big the Puerto Rican holidays are—it lasts for nearly a month and a half. Parties are full of “coquito”, “arroz con gandules”, “pasteles”, lively traditional music, and a special sweet treat from Los Cidrines. The company is a household name throughout the island that offers a variety of quality pastries that can be found pre-packed in local groceries; the most well known is the delicious “quesito”.

The project include special “parrandas” to public officials in acknowledgment of their service during the holidays! It was a way of saying “thank you for giving up your holiday by working for the well being of the rest of the community.” It’s our time to serve you (some goodies, that is!).
